I was a user of utorrent for a couple of years. Then i went to bitcomet because of the blogs, posts and community. Don't understand me wrong still using utorrent. These days bitcomet is very slow for me with blogs, post and opening programs of bitcomet such as movie pages. So i did a test for myself. Wich program connect peers better in the beginning, what speed the have in the beginning and the amount of data generated for the download.
Using :
1. Bitcomet 1.07
2. utorrent 1.8.1
File :
moviefile of 700 mb with lot of seeds and peers.
Trackers :
the same for both programs.
Time for test :
15,30 minutes from the beginning
Result :
Bitcomet 15,30 minutes = 33.96 mb of data
Utorrent 15,30 minutes = 172 mb of data
Conclusion for me is that :
Utorrent connects smoother and faster with peers/seeds then bitcomet.
I watched the programs that where used when i was downloading. The most connections came from :
